On Saturdays We Play Rugby is an anthology of small town New Zealand. As future policies plan for city growth and urban expansion, photographer Emma Badeia examines the more quaint communities that are vestiges of this drift. The work reflects and celebrates a stoic snub of metropolitan opportunities for an idyllic life of simple living and what this means to New Zealand culture.
